Emily Carr trained artist Allysha Hurd is constantly striving to bring beauty into everyday domestic life. We think she's nailed that bird on the head! (so to speak!!)

This wonderfully whimsical bowl is the perfect size for noodles, side dishes...or, should we dare....ICE CREAM!

"Re-purposed." "Up-cycled." "Re-imagined."

Whatever your favourite name for it is, we all agree that these tip the fun-o-meter scale in terms of garden art! Multi-talented, multi-media artist Jan Meads is the creative gardener behind these playful posies recently planted at the Market! With copper stems and at just $47, wouldn't they make the perfect gift for that person who has everything? (even if that someone is you?)

Rustic. Whimsical. Functional...

Artist Andrew Kent of "The Willow Way" is the imaginative mind behind his charming chairs, tables, benches, and baskets!

There's something so friendly and playful about willow furniture - it seems to offer us a wonderful connection to nature by inviting us to come and sit for awhile and hear the stories of the forests that live along the shores Salish Sea.

The wonderful Peace Signs in the window are by talented Hornby Is. artist Caroline James!

Remember to bring your own chair and come and enjoy a lovely summer afternoon of magical storytelling with Charles!!

There will also be some time to ask Charles questions and have him sign your favourite book!

So strong.

Such character.

How can so much personality be carved into clay?

For celebrated artist Corry Lunn, it's just all in a day's work.

Two of Corry's powerful raven vessels have just arrived in the Market!

We're thrilled to welcome artist Sandra Fowler from Victoria and her wonderful west coast glass to the Market! Is it functional you ask? Oh my, is it ever! From entertaining to displaying, Sandra's pieces are intended to be used for every day living. (Pssst...if you love this bull kelp platter - you're going to LOVE the live edge table she's brought to the Market!!)

Does she make pieces of a more structural nature? Oh my, does she ever! Ask us about the pieces she creates for builders of residential and commercial buildings!
