For award-winning artist Madeleine Wood, art has been a lifelong passion.
Madeleine possesses an unquenchable desire to capture what she sees as closely as possible, which stems from having limited vision as a child. Myopia, astigmatism, crossed and alternate vision have all impacted the way
she sees her world. Isolating her interests through a camera lens, she
methodically translates each image in oil paint.
Born in BC, Madeleine studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and completed her MFA at Concordia University.
