This week we're talking about boards...oh, the
boards! Artist and popular food blogger Ann Thibeault, along with her husband Moe, are the creators of west coast Maple Cutting Boards and Knife Racks.
Handcrafted in Cowichan Bay from reclaimed Vancouver Island Big Leaf Maple, each one-of-a-kind board is an absolute work of art. Many of the boards are created to maintain their natural "live edge" profile, quilting, as well as bird’s eye figure, giving each one its own unique character and personality.
Their beauty and west coast charm make us want to use the boards just for serving and entertaining, however Ann and Moe are the first to encourage us to use them for cutting too!
